Traditional construction vs. industrialized steel buildings
Traditional reinforced-concrete construction runs on structural uncertainty: budgets that get re-opened on site, schedules at the mercy of weather and material waste nobody accounts for up front. Pre-engineered steel construction resolves all three at the root.
On-site rework and change orders push budgets 15–40% over plan — scope changes, coordination errors and extra labor draining the margin.
Weather, skilled-labor shortages and site errors add months to the program — delaying occupancy, delaying revenue and delaying return.
Lost material, environmental impact and low on-site productivity — visible and hidden costs the project ends up absorbing.
» What if you could engineer that uncertainty out of the project?
Solutions — industrialized steel construction
We design in BIM, fabricate LGS/CFS profiles on CNC lines at our Panama Free Trade Zone plant, control the shipping and erect with our own certified crews. One team, one schedule, one accountable point of contact — for industrial, institutional, educational, hospitality and multifamily projects across Panama, Colombia and the Caribbean.
Integrated process — design, fabrication and erection
Four phases connected by data — BIM design, CNC fabrication, Caribbean logistics and on-site erection — for US developers, Caribbean GCs and institutional owners who need a turnkey contractor with fixed price and guaranteed occupancy.
BIM modeling in Revit and Tekla, structural calculation to AISC / AISI S100-16 / ASCE 7 / NSR-10 / REP-21, and direct fabrication data output. MEP coordination resolved before a single sheet is cut.
Automated production of ZAM180 galvanized profiles to AISI S100-16 at our Centro Industrial PEB (Las Mañanitas) plant. ±0.5 mm tolerance, piece-by-piece traceability, duty-free material sourcing.
Consolidation, crating and optimized shipping from Panama to Colombia, the Dominican Republic and any Caribbean island in 5–10 days. Erection sequence labeled on every package.
Our certified crews execute site erection, foundation integration, envelope, MEP and finishes. Building delivered ready to operate — one handover, one warranty, one point of contact.
Conflicts are caught in software — not on site with a crane already on the clock.
Structure, mechanical, electrical and plumbing resolved in the model.
Every piece with a drawing, code and traceability record. Zero factory ambiguity.
Progress tracked against the model, not against the chaos of the site.
How a steel-framed LGS building gets built
A standard LGS/CFS project moves through six controlled steps — from foundation to finishes. Each phase has a measurable deliverable, a dedicated crew and documented verification, so architects, developers and owners can plan cash flow with precision.

Concrete cured and leveled. The exact location of wall tracks is laid out from BIM-derived shop drawings.

Vertical ZAM180 C-studs are fastened to tracks with self-drilling Tek screws, checking plumb continuously.

For multi-story structures, floor and roof joists are installed and fastened to the top track of the wall panels.

Electrical wiring and plumbing pass through pre-punched knockouts in the LGS studs, protected against sharp edges.

Exterior sheathing braces the frame. Stud cavities are filled with insulation for thermal and acoustic performance.

EIFS facade, windows and metal roofing. Weather-tight, modern building, ready for operation.
Steel framing vs. traditional reinforced concrete
A building that takes 18 months in traditional concrete is delivered in 4 months in LGS/CFS steel framing. For a developer, that's 14 extra months of revenue; for an institution, that's two school years saved or a budget not lost to late execution.

Technical standards
Sustainability · ESG · Sustainable steel construction
Industrialized steel construction is a more responsible alternative to traditional concrete: less waste, less water, less embodied CO₂, more traceability, and components that can be disassembled and recycled at 100%. A strong argument for investment funds with ESG targets and for government projects with sustainable-construction requirements.
100% recyclable steel. Dry construction — major water savings. Cuts calculated directly from the BIM model.
Lighter components, lower labor risk, faster erection. Less exposure at height, shorter site occupation.
Every component has a BIM record: production, QC, steel batch and fabrication date. No hidden cost overruns.
Aligned with global engineering and compliance standards. Suitable for investment, multilateral and government projects.
How to quote industrialized steel construction
A clear commercial process for US developers, Caribbean GCs, architects and institutional owners: cost certainty before committing major capital, and a fixed-price turnkey quote before breaking ground. The design fee is credited against the construction contract.
